Audrey Matlock

Audrey Matlock leads the design of her eponymous New York firm. Her work designing buildings and urban spaces combine her artistic and technological underpinnings. Matlock was awarded fellowship into the American Institute of Architects, recognized as an Emerging Voice by the Architectural League, awarded a certificate of appreciation from the US General Services Administration for her contributions to quality and lasting achievement in Federal design and awarded the American Institute of Architects Vice Presidential Citation for Design Excellence. Residential Architect Magazine recently published a monograph of Matlock’s work, and she was just named by The New York Times as one of the ten architects whose buildings are shaping New York today. Her firm has won over sixty design awards. Her academic appointments include visiting faculty positions at Yale University, University of Texas, Syracuse University, Catholic University, University of Pennsylvania, Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute and City College of New York. An active member of the international architecture community, she frequently lectures and participates on design juries worldwide.
