Chrissy Stuart

Chrissy Stuart is an interdisciplinary artist working in light sculpture, and utilizes arts-based research in her work. Chrissy co-founded Atrium Creative Retreats to promote creative expression and facilitate change through a distinct focus on community, wellness, imagination, collaboration, and the environment. Atrium has hosted retreats, workshops, and events for artists, individuals, and groups all over the world. She is an Active Imagination facilitator and Art Experiential instructor, certified in Social & Emotional Arts by UCLA. A longtime music industry professional of 15+ yrs, Chrissy has worked for South by Southwest and most recently pioneered the publishing companies of Beggars Group (XL Recordings, 4AD, Matador Records, Young Turks, Rough Trade) in the US, and established and ran their sync licensing divisions. She has served multiple terms as Governor on the Los Angeles Chapter Board of The Recording Academy, and is actively involved in supporting the next generation of music leaders through mentorship and professional development programs she helped launch for music makers, students, and young professionals.
